To the North, Twilight Sparkleby ~FoldawayWings

This drawing pad thing is very nifty, letting me scribble without reducing my hand to a stiff-claw state!
And here we have Twilight plodding off into the snow, apparently on some official business. Probably. I drew this mainly for the sake of costuming Twi, everything else just got tossed in to make it more presentable-like.

- Twilight's List of Things to Avoid in the Far North:

Snowsnakes: pictured here.

Frost Jackles: because getting frost bit would be Bad.

Iceteroids: which are basically giant snowballs that develop in the atmosphere and then fall to earth whenever the wind dies down. Think demonic hail from a clear sky.

Iceworms: thank goodness they melt when exposed to sunlight. Just try not to cross any glaciers after dark, and if you do, look out below...

There are real ice worms in our world, but they're tiny and mainly eat snow algae~

I really love all of the outfits you've designed for the ponies. They always look fantastic. As does Twi's magical fire torch--that's a really nifty touch.

I have no idea what a Frost Jackle is, but it SOUNDS menacing.

I'm glad somepony else likes a bit of pony fashion. Mostly old tapestries and paintings of kingly steeds and equine warriors serve as my inspiratio;, they had some pretty flashy tack back then~

The fire ended up being my favorite effect in the picture, and I'd imagine fire is one of the only things capable of fending off a Frost Jackal... So Twi's being both cautious and cool!^w^
